  • What does it mean to be college ready?
    Being ready for college, and subsequently the work-force, means possessing the knowledge, skills, and academic preparation needed to enroll in introductory college credit bearing courses pursuant to an undergraduate degree.
  • How can JTE help prepare students for the transition from high school to college?
    Drawing upon our expert knowledge, JTE assists students by providing a continuum of service beginning as early as the freshman year of high school. As a client, students will receive personalized counseling as they progress through high school, including advisement with completing college applications, selecting high school courses that align with career goals, evaluating extra-curricular activities, assistance with scholarship research and other objectives pursuant to the college application process. Our support also extends to the family of our clients and includes financial planning.
  • How can I determine if JTE services are right for me?
    Any student with aspirations of attending a post-secondary institution can benefit from our services. Each year, hundreds of thousands of academically prepared high-school seniors miss the college transition and are forced to delay their advancement to higher education. If you are considering pursuing a college degree, JTE can with work with you to facilitate the college application process and ensure that your decisions are both informed and timely.
  • Is college affordable?
    Yes! With the proper planning, college can be made affordable for students and their families. JTE will assist clients with the identification of scholarships, grants, and loans, as well as offer recommendations for tax deductible college savings plans. Our goal is to design a plan that will help defray the cost of tuition and other post-secondary related expenses, easing the financial burden and strain of increasing college costs.
